Dr. Thorsten Barnickel, biologist and bioinformatician
Thorsten Barnickel was born in 1979 in Regensburg. After studying biology in Regensburg and Heidelberg, and postgraduate bioinformatic studies in Berlin, he received his PhD on semantic search engines at the Helmholtz Zentrum München. Today he works as a patent attorney in Wiesbaden. His main interests include questions of evolutionary biology, philosophy, and criticism of religion.

Jacqueline Neumann, Dr. jur., born 1983, studied law in Berlin, Leuven (Belgium), and in Frankfurt am Main. Her PhD thesis on legal protection in international, European, and national public law was awarded the Baker & McKenzie Prize 2013. From 2014 to 2017 she worked as a lawyer and supported the gbs as an external legal advisor. Since 2017 she has worked as an administrative lawyer and assumed the scientific coordination of the Institut für Weltanschauungsrecht (ifw - Institute for Secuar Law).
Dr. Rainer Rosenzweig, perceptual psychologist and initiator of the Nuremberg "Turm der Sinne"
Rainer Rosenzweig was born in 1968 in Nuremberg. He first studied mathematics at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and graduated in 1995. From 1999-2000 he was managing director of Humanistischer Verband Bayern (then HVD Nürnberg), and from 2000-2003 assistant managing director at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. In 2003 he completed his PhD in the field of perception psychophysics at the Bavarian Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg and in the same year became managing director of the Bavarian-Californian University Centre BaCaTeC at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
Assunta Tammelleo, former entrepreneur, 2nd chairwoman of bfg Munich
Assunta Tammelleo was born in Stuttgart in 1961. After graduating from high school she began studying political science at LMU Munich. In 1986 she studied political science at the Sorbonne in Paris and then resumed her studies in Munich in 1987.
